How Ivy works
- Connected Blocks were introduced in Block Out Version 395 as a new blocker.
- Linked blocks move together, so a move on one piece also affects its connected partner.
- The connection holds until a clear condition separates the pieces.

Strategy checks
- Treat the connected pair as a single unit when planning lanes and exits.
- Look for a clear that removes both linked colors without stranding one.
- Position the pair so its combined footprint still leaves a usable path.
AVOID
Common mistakes
- Do not move one block and assume its partner stays put.
- Do not separate the colors into lanes that cannot both reach an exit.
- Do not plan around the link as if it were a normal independent block.
